Mixed Oyster Mushroom Stir Fry Recipe

 

A quick and colourful stir fry using a mix of oyster mushrooms. Packed with flavour, texture and nutrients — perfect for a simple, healthy meal.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 300g mixed oyster mushrooms (blue, yellow, pink, black pearl, king)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 carrot (sliced)
  • 1 spring onion (sliced)
  • Cooked rice or noodles to serve

 

METHOD:

  1. Tear mushrooms into large strips.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil. Set aside.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add garlic, carrot and bell pepper. Stir fry for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add mixed oyster mushrooms and cook until tender and slightly browned (about 4–5 minutes).
  6. Pour in the sauce and toss everything together.
  7. Serve over rice or noodles and garnish with spring onions.

 

CHEF TIP: Don’t wash mushrooms — brush clean or wipe gently with a damp cloth.
