Garlic Butter Black Pearl Oyster Mushrooms Recipe

A rich and savoury dish using Black Pearl Oyster mushrooms. Buttery, garlicky and perfect served on toast or alongside your favourite meal.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 200g Black Pearl Oyster mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves (sliced)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Squeeze of lemon
  • Optional: chopped parsley
  • Sourdough toast or pasta to serve

METHOD:

  1. Tear mushrooms into medium strips.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until golden and crispy (about 4–5 minutes).
  4. Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  5. Add butter and allow it to melt through the mushrooms.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Finish with lemon and parsley. Serve on toast or with pasta.

 

CHEF TIP: Don’t wash mushrooms — brush clean or wipe gently with a damp cloth.
